CANASTO PICNIC BISTRÓ

Canasto is one of my favourite restaurants in the WORLD, and that says a lot. Combine an incredibly bright and stylish decor with a healthy and creative menu and food that not only presents beautifully, it tastes like something out of this world, and you get Canasto. Whenever I'm in Bogotá, this is my my go-to spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Chicó Norte location is especially lovely.

CICLOVIA DE BOGOTÁ

The city of Bogotá, a main entry point into South America, is known for many things, but one of its greatest initiatives (that has been copied in cities around the world) is its Sunday bike ride. From 7:00am-2:00pm, several main streets are blocked off to cars so that bicyclists, runners and skaters can make their way into the 'great outdoors' - in the middle of the city. Bogotá's weekly ciclovías are used by approximately two million people! Impressive, right?

ST DOM

Colombians are known for their great - and colourful - sense of style, and St Dom houses fashions and accessories that reflect this. Dedicated to high-end Colombian design, you'll find 'special items' (garments, shoes, bags, art and jewelry) to fill your wardrobe from head-to-toe and earlobe-to-earlobe.
